Catherine Dugas is a graduate of the Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) program, and has recently started Serendipity 4; her own private practice nestled in the heart of Beaver Valley. Surrounded by water, trails and mountains, her idyllic location lends itself to the process of becoming attuned to oneself and to nature. Catherine is an intuitive and compassionate facilitator, who has a deep connection and understanding of her horse partners. As a team, they will promote heart connections, emotional and body awareness, as well as self-mastery through experiencing a number of FEEL activities. The process of becoming a FEEL facilitator has taught Catherine a new way of being and introduced her to skills that will allow for the possibility of helping clients with diverse needs such as veterans ,Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Youth or even people in search of connecting with their inner self again.

Born in Quebec, Catherine has lived in Ontario for thirty years. She graduated with a BA in Business from Ryerson University and enjoyed a successful corporate career for twenty-two years. As the E-Business Manager for Canada for Wesco distribution, she traveled extensively across the country to train and support employees at 53 branches. She worked closely with customers that required more complex solutions, negotiating at the VP level, acting as project manager until delivery and launching of the solutions were completed. Having been in a leadership position, she will be able to help clients gain empowerment and link their own skills to become better leaders in their own lives. After gaining a tremendous wealth of knowledge in the corporate world, she came to the point in her life where she wanted to love to work with the same passion and dedication while making a difference in the world.

In 2009, Catherine transformed her life by leaving her career to move North of Toronto to create Hope Haven Therapeutic Riding and Family Centre (Hope Haven). With her vision in mind, she took courses and learned through the help of key people all she needed to know about horse care, stable management and other charitable duties. She invested her time and finances to launch this not- for- profit organization which was dedicated to providing various equine-assisted programs, services and workshops to build skills and capabilities for children with disabilities and their families.

During the seven years of developing Hope Haven, Catherine constantly witnessed the magic that happens between horse and human and wanted to explore this further. Her own journey of self-growth eventually led her to pursue accreditation as a FEEL facilitator where she truly believes she has found the herd where she finally belongs!

Vision :
Experience an unexpected discovery of a heartfelt connectivity by being in a love centered relationship with horses. Opening the flow of creativity to focus on who you are becoming!
