Janis Mirynech is a director of Horse Spirit Connections and one of the co-facilitators.  She brings her marketing  and equine facilitation experience to help shape the programs for general consumption.

Janis attended her first FEEL workshop and immediately experienced the incredible possibilities that a connection with the horses provides.  Subsequent equine experiential workshops reinforced not only the benefits gained personally but also how wonderful it would be to bring this empowering work to others.  Having acquired her certification as a FEEL facilitator, Janis finds this work extremely rewarding and a wonderful way of living out her vision – guiding others to realizing their dreams.

From a business perspective she lives out her vision with her consulting firm, working with small businesses, guiding them to realizing their full potential.  With over 20 years of marketing experience in the corporate world, helping build some of Canada’s largest brands, Janis has always been a student of people and behaviours, She brought her strong relationship skills to the varied marketing roles in her career.  This was publicly acknowledged when she was given an ELSIE by the LCBO, the world’s largest beverage alcohol retailer – a personal partnership award that recognizes the person who represents the best of partnership, integrity and empowering relationships.

Janis has a great love and appreciation for nature and living things.  She finds her ‘calm centre’ when she is in the presence of the horses or kayaking the waterways of northern Ontario.  Her husband, Michael, also has a tremendous passion for nature and together they spend their spare time in up north along with their teenage daughter.
