Laurel Griffin

Laurel Griffin has an extensive background and history within the horse industry of Alberta. She grew up with a rich ranching background in the foothills of Alberta and her ranch, Spirit Winds, is nestled close to the mountains west of Calgary. Laurel honed her horse skills through the local pony club and then moved on to a successful show career on the “A” circuit across western Canada.  One of her horses, Chinook, went on to be the Ontario and Toronto Royal amateur Hunter Champion 3 years running. During Laurel’s years of teaching riding, she enjoyed the magic of connecting people and horses. With that in mind she is retooling her ranch to reflect that passion. With her skill set learned  at Horse Spirit Connections, she will be connecting horses and people in a whole new way.
