Kara Burrow is the Founder and President of Bella Misty Meadows Animal Sanctuary, a not-for-profit organization and centre for Animal and Equine Assisted Learning in St. Williams, Ontario. Kara’s work as a teacher and experience with abused, neglected and unwanted animals led to the founding of the sanctuary in 2005. The Sanctuary offers ways to create positive change for animals and people through the power of animal and equine assisted learning.
Kara has completed training with EAGALA (level 2) and is a certified FEEL Facilitator, as well as being a qualified teacher. She continues to learn from her animals as they assist children and adults to discover their strength. Kara hopes to touch many lives with the wisdom and honesty of the animals. “Working with animals in a rescue situation has allowed me to develop a deep soul connection with these beautiful beings. The animals have helped me find my path and I hope we can help many other children and adults on their journey.”
