Paula Dunn is a Registered Nurse, Reiki Master, Integrated Energy Therapy (basic level) and certified Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning practitioner who offers equine-assisted self-discovery as an approach to personal growth and development.   Paula will soon be adding life coaching options to her practice to further assist individuals on their path to self-discovery.

From a young age, Paula spent her days with the horses either through riding instruction, competing or just being and caring for them.  Paula left the family farm to attend university and to pursue a career in nursing.   Paula has practiced nursing in several different capacities over the past 28 years bringing compassion, caring and empathy to all interactions.    Paula has worked in the areas of complex chronic care, palliation,  children’s services and several management roles over the years always partnering with clients to improve their health.

Paula completed her reiki master’s certificate three years ago during a period of transition in her life.  This healing work provides healing energies to help others through their healing process.   Integrating reiki during the healing process with the wisdom of the horse allows for an increased understanding of oneself and the next steps in your journey.

In 2014, Paula was called back to her roots and purchased Whispering Pines, a 55-acre healing centre north of Gananoque, Ontario.  Paula has transitioned her healing modality to include the wisdom of the horse.  She integrates FEEL horse work with the energy work of Reiki and life coaching.  Paula invites you to awaken your power within, through the spirit of the horse.
