“When we have clear intentions, our path flows.” Learned from listening to her horse, this has become Isabel’s mantra and guiding principal.
Isabel Iaconis listens to horses. They tell her the same things as the clients in her hairstyling chair have confided in her for over 28 years – their fears, their aspirations, and their insecurities. As a long-time business owner, hairstylist, and college facilitator, she developed a strong sense of empathy and compassion that led her to become a certified facilitator in FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning). With a professional network of off-sight psychologists as a resource and referral point, Isabel can help lead you to confidently reclaim your power and learn new life skills.
Isabel has spent the better part of her life in a barn. Her passion for horses started at age 3 and she became an avid horseback rider and more recently competed in reining. She immigrated to Canada from Portugal at a young age, and started school without knowing how to speak English. To survive, she learned to communicate through body language, quickly learning how to read others; a skill that naturally transferred to her interactions with horses.
Without judgement, pretense, or expectation, horses can sense everything around them and they intuitively act as a reflection, mirroring your thoughts, emotions, and intentions back to you. Through these interactions the horses speak to Isabel and she acts as an interpreter to facilitate your learning.
